Returns & Refunds Policy

Due to the nature of my store—where many items are signed, custom-packed, limited edition, or small-batch—I do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind. All sales are final unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
7-Day Damage Claim Policy
You have 7 days after receiving your order to report a damaged or incorrect item. After this window, I cannot offer replacements or assistance.
To be eligible, the item must be:

Unused and in its original packaging

Reported with a clear photo showing the issue, including the shipping label and packaging
Please email contact@pureamber.com.au with:

Your order number
-
Description of the issue

Photos of the damage or incorrect item + the parcel it arrived in
What Qualifies as Damaged
Accepted as damaged:
-
Rips, tears, or visible scratches on the book cover or spine larger than 1cm
-
Residue, marks, or dents larger than 1cm on the front/spine

More than one page bent or ripped, affecting legibility

Production defects (e.g., missing coating or damaged foiling)
Not accepted as damage:

Light scratches, scuffs or marks on the back of dust jackets

Uneven sprayed edges or tiny white specks
-
Minor dents or soft creases under 1cm

Wavy pages or creased blank pages
Please understand that handmade or custom-printed items may have slight variations.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded:

Custom or personalized orders

Signed books or limited-edition bundles

Digital downloads
-
Items marked as “scratch & dent” or “clearance”
If Your Return is Approved (for damage only):
If I approve a replacement, I will give you return instructions. You are responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise arranged. Items returned without approval will not be processed.
Refunds
In rare cases where a refund is approved instead of a replacement, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow extra time for your bank or card provider to process it.
If it has been more than 15 business days since approval and your refund has not arrived.
