In April 2026, I will be bringing Nixara’s Awakening to Supanova on the Gold Coast. If you are attending, come say hello. You can flip through the books, explore the maps and artwork, ask questions about the world, and step into the Nixara’s Awakening universe for a while.

 

2025 highlights

​

In September 2025, I exhibited at Oz Comic-Con as a first-time author in Artist Alley, and it was a genuinely brilliant experience. I loved meeting readers face-to-face, talking world-building, and watching people discover the Nixara’s Awakening universe in real time.

​

In the same year, my short screenplay Baited Silence received recognition from the Melbourne International Screenplay Awards, and I also published a short story collection unrelated to the Nixara’s Awakening universe titled Silent Conversations.

 

2024 highlights

In 2024, I pursued several experimental creative projects, including the short film Reverie—an introspective piece exploring the cyclical nature of life and emotional memory. Reverie received multiple awards and official selections across international film festivals, including the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival, the New Jersey Shorts Award, and the London Women’s Film Festival. It was also selected for the City of Angels Women’s Film Festival and screened in both Los Angeles and South Korea, among other venues.

Current creative focus

​

My creative focus is dedicated to the ongoing expansion of the Nixara’s Awakening universe. This multidisciplinary project is conveyed through narrative fiction, world-building, visual storytelling, digital design, and cartographic illustration. Through a combination of literary depth and visual world-mapping, I aim to build an immersive universe that engages readers intellectually, emotionally, and imaginatively.

Alongside publishing, I continue developing screenwriting projects that extend the world into television and film. This includes Where Shadows Bloom, a TV pilot rooted in the darker, character-driven narratives of the realm, currently in script development.

​

The Nixara’s Awakening universe also grows through exclusive storytelling on my Patreon, where supporters gain early access to chapters, behind-the-scenes lore, maps, artwork, and character-driven side arcs that expand the mythos beyond the core book series.

As both a writer and visual world-builder, I am passionate about creating experiences that bridge mediums—offering stories that are not only read, but felt, explored, and remembered.
